We aim to promote cottage industries as it leads to the betterment of the villages both socially and economically. In India agriculture is the main source of livelihood for much of the rural areas. Lately, there are many farmers switching to non-agricultural work as there is a lot of pressure from the markets on wages, lack of investments, resources, knowledge and so on.
We aim at cottage industries because the women at home can also be a part and are an earning member of the family; it can be started with family members itself as it doesn’t require large premises, huge investments or big machines. Even the government extends support to the cottage industries by providing the technologies and required investments to set up the industry with a view of increasing the profitability, productivity and employment.
